digital painting, photography

Rosanne Morris, a member of the Guelph arts community, is inspired to create while “forest bathing” in nature or while appreciating the elements of design in urban settings. Working in mixed media, her work resonates with “Miksang”, a Tibetan word which means “good eye”. Photographs are adjusted digitally, reshaped and reimagined, and are sometimes painted on canvas to create something new. Serendipity is never far away, which keeps her work vibrant and fresh. Recent work is inspired by the magical colours of San Miguel de Allende and Oaxaca State in Mexico, the ramparts and break waters of St. Malo, and the dells and cliffs of Guernsey in The Channel Islands.
