During my early to late 20 I wanted to take a art class. I never did get the chance. I got married in my mid 20 raised a family and only managed to take a intro class in watercolor, but didn’t have the time to do anything else. It wasn’t until after a divorce and becoming a empty nester all within 6 months and other upsets in my life did I turn to art. I found art to be a really good anxiety release. Through some of the darkest days in my life my art has blossomed. I am a self taught artist and the need to get into my studio has started to grow stronger ever day. Challenging my self by trying new outlets I have found really rewarding. During the past few years I have taken a few workshops in watercolor which I did find informative and a learned a lot but I feel a stronger connection with the flow of acrylic and resin. Branching out to using wood with epoxy resin is a new avenue that has caught my interest |
